PROJECT TITLE:
Research on the stability, specificity, and molecular composition of the innovative
CardioBind test assessing the binding capacity of stem cells to heart tissues under in vitro
conditions for applications in personalized medicine.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND TASKS:
The project, implemented by Target Cells Sp. z o.o. in cooperation with the Jagiellonian University
acting as a subcontractor, involves research and development work aimed at the validation of the
CardioBind diagnostic tool. The project is co-financed by the European Union.
The following tasks are being carried out as part of the project:

  • Conducting physicochemical and microbiological stability tests of the assay.
  • Performing proteomic analyses to identify protein isoforms.
  • Verifying the binding specificity of stem cells to heart tissues under in vitro conditions.
    TARGET GROUPS:
Entities operating in the field of regenerative medicine and cardiology, particularly research
centers, scientific institutions, and healthcare providers conducting research on cell therapies.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
To confirm the effectiveness, durability, and specificity of the CardioBind test as a tool supporting
the development of personalized medicine.

PROJECT RESULTS:
A laboratory-validated diagnostic test intended for research applications in regenerative medicine,
enabling the assessment of the interaction potential between stem cells and heart tissue.
